OU Federal Credit Union was founded in 1954 to serve the financial needs of OU Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni, Friends and Family of the University of Oklahoma. The credit union offers a full suite of products and services, including savings and checking accounts as well as auto loans, personal loans, credit cards, and home loans. Our on-campus branch offers instant issue debit cards as well as cash advance and notary services. Members are also eligible to apply for an academic scholarship of $750 awarded twice per school year.

*Deposits refers to electronic deposits processed through the Federal Reserve Automatic Clearing House System (ACH). Deposits made against ATM/debit cards do not apply. Electronic deposits for the federal government such as Social Security and VA Benefits and Income Tax Returns may be posted up to five business days early. All other electronic deposits such as payroll, electronic transfer, and P2P (person to person) may be posted up to two business days early. OU Federal Credit Union will not post withdrawals before the effective date on the item. OU Federal Credit Union will not post deposits during the current month with effective dates of the next month (Example: Today is 03/28/2023, the electronic deposit’s effective date is 3/31/2023. The deposit will be completed on 3/28/2023.
Early release of electronic deposits requires that the credit union first receive the necessary data from the originator. OU Federal Credit Union cannot guarantee if or when the necessary data will be received from the originator nor can it always guarantee early release of funds.
