A message from the President/CEO of OU Federal Credit Union

The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation continues to dominate all aspects of our lives and if you are like me, there is a lot of uncertainty as to when this will end and what the landscape will look like when it’s all done.

Oklahoma Governor Stitt issued a shelter in place order for 19 Oklahoma Counties for the next 21 days so many of you may be reading this while self-isolating.  If you are, rest assured that if you need anything, our drive thru remains open and with our various technology partners, we are able to conduct all necessary transactions and remain connected to you and for you!

Thanks to our amazing partners at the Financial Cents literacy club, we are excited to offer financial literacy information through their website that deals specifically with the virus and its impact on personal finances. If you’d like to check it out, click here.

During this difficult time, all of us at OU Federal Credit Union are working to ensure you can access your account, add new accounts, get a loan or transfer money between financial institutions. To that end, our staff remains in place to answer your questions via phone or through our Lindsey Branch drive-thru. Our Student Union location will remain closed for the foreseeable future.

We are also:

  • Removing our out of network ATM fees so that you can access cash nationwide at no charge
  • Reducing our overdraft fee to $20
  • No charge for over the phone loan payments or to send money via bank to bank transfer
  • No charge for April loan skips- complete your request by clicking here

If you are affected by the virus and are not able to make your regular loan payment, please reach out to us as soon as possible so that we can work with you to get through this time with your good credit intact.
