2020 Annual Meeting- Update

OU Federal Credit Union will hold its 2020 Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2020 via Zoom beginning at 6:00pm. A link to the meeting will be sent with your registration email.

The following candidates are seeking re-election:

Vincent Deberry*

Vincent Deberry, a member of OU Federal Credit Union since 2010, is seeking reelection to the Board of Directors. Mr. Deberry has served in his current role on the board since 2019. Mr. Deberry is the Executive Director of the University of Oklahoma’s Center for Public Management, a position he has held since 2013.  In this capacity, he oversees over 350 employees and is responsible for establishing the strategic vision, shaping culture and setting organizational priorities. Prior to his work at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Deberry served as Chief Operating Officer at Electra Digital Corporation.

Mr. Deberry is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma as well as holding a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University.

Virtual Meeting FAQs

Will there be a physical meeting location?

No, our annual meeting will be held virtually through a Zoom Virtual Meeting Space On October 22, 2020 beginning at 6pm and there will not be a physical meeting location.

Who can attend OU Fed’s Annual Meeting?

All credit union members who are in good standing may attend the meeting.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a video communication platform that allows individuals to connect in a virtual space using audio and video capabilities.

Do I need to register or sign up to attend the Annual Meeting? 

Yes, however, you can register up to 30 days early.  Upon dialing in, you will be placed in a “waiting Room” until the meeting begins.  Please send your request to attend the annual meeting to memberservices@oufcu.com. Please include your name and member number. A link to the meeting will be sent prior to the meeting after membership has been confirmed.

Will I have to Purchase or download anything?

There is no zoom software purchase necessary to participate in the Annual Meeting and you do not need to create an account with Zoom.  If you choose to participate in the Annual Meeting using your computer, tablet or smartphone, you may be prompted to download the Zoom software to view the video feed from the meeting. If you choose not to view the video portion of the meeting, you can still participate by using the ‘For Telephone’ directions provided. These instructions provide dial-in phone numbers that can be called from a landline or cellular device.

Will we be voting on the nominations to the Board of Directors?

Yes- members will have the opportunity to vote on the nominations to the Board of Directors during the Annual Meeting. More information on how voting will take place will be provided during the Annual Meeting.

Where can I find the Annual Report?

How will I be able to ask questions?

Zoom features a chat feature that will allow members to type out their questions or ask to be recognized so that they may ask a question.
